Child Safety Standards Policy — SavePlate

This policy describes the standards we maintain to keep our platform safe, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards requirements and applicable law.

1. Our commitment

• SavePlate prohibits child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation on our platform.
• SavePlate is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts.
• We comply with applicable child-safety laws in India and the jurisdictions where we operate, and we cooperate with law enforcement and relevant authorities.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on SavePlate:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
• Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any sexualization of minors.
• Trafficking, endangerment, or exploitation of children.
• Any content or behavior that sexualizes, abuses, or endangers a minor.

3. How we prevent and respond to CSAE

• Age restriction: the App and its content rating are for adults (18+). Accounts are created with adult users in mind.
• User-generated content: Food Partners and NGOs can upload food listing photos and text. We prohibit any content depicting or endangering minors. We provide reporting tools and act on reports.
• Reporting: users can report inappropriate content or conduct by contacting [safety@saveplate.app]. Reports are reviewed promptly.
• Enforcement: when we identify prohibited content or conduct, we remove the content, suspend or terminate the responsible account, preserve relevant evidence, and take further action as appropriate.
• Reporting to authorities: we report apparent CSAM/CSAE to the appropriate authorities and/or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant Indian authority, as required by law, and cooperate with investigations.

4. In-app reporting mechanism

Any user can report content or behavior that may violate this policy:
